Matthew Gribble, Ph.D

Assistant Professor
Department of Environmental Health
Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University

Dr. Gribble joined the Emory faculty in 2016. His research program aims to inform water pollution risk assessments, by shining light on both drinking water chemical contamination health risks, and marine ecological impacts of chemical pollution. His research program emphasizes themes of environmental justice, and he works in partnership with diverse communities including indigenous populations in the United States and other populations in lower-and-middle-income countries. Dr. Gribble is especially interested in characterizing the health implications of exposure mixtures, and understanding mechanisms of susceptibility (such as predisposing genetics and epigenetics).
